Professor Wang Shihua was born in a scholarly family, heirs to Hanmo, and he has been fascinated by him since childhood. The great-grandfather Wang Lunyuan wrote the calligraphy rubbings of "The Monument to the Blessing Pavilion in Lake Town" more than 100 years ago (1898). It has a long history and forty years. Professor Wang Shihua has been working hard, and "true grass seals" all have "attack". Among them, the official script is the most diligent and accomplished. He believes that official script is the best style to write, and it is also the most difficult style to write well. Said it is the best to write because his strokes are the simplest; said it is the most difficult to write well because its strokes are too simple. Therefore, some people learn to write the official script in a day or two, but they have not been able to write the official script well in a lifetime. Perhaps because of this reason, there are very few contemporary calligraphers who are devoted to the official script. Teacher Wang's method is to always hold the attitude of learning, insist on learning from classics, accumulate in learning, seek change and innovation in accumulation. He believes in drawing nourishment in inheritance and showing style in innovation.
The collection of works "Wang Shihua Calligraphy" was published by Xiling Yinshe Publishing House. He has held five individual calligraphy exhibitions in Hangzhou, China and other places such as West Lake Museum. His works have been exhibited in Japan, Thailand, Pakistan, France, Canada, Serbia and other countries. It has also been collected by many domestic and foreign units and celebrities including Chinese embassies abroad.

State of Mind·Hometown No. 3 (Xuan paper, 140x70cm, 2020) Price: RMB 40,000 CAD 8,000
"I have a special liking for Huizhou culture worship, especially the Huizhou architecture with black tiles and white walls. The villages between the green mountains and the water; the gurgling streams of the mountains; the clear streams of the blue waves; The dreamlike plumes of smoke... imprinted in my mind like a fairyland, making me linger. Therefore, during the epidemic, I conceived and created a series of works of the State of Mind · Homeland. I know "Huishan , Huishui, Huixiang, Huiqing" are the themes often expressed by ancient and modern painters, and most of them will depict Huizhou architecture with black tiles and white walls, focusing on the shaping of concrete objects, which naturally makes the picture lose a lot of Vivid and interesting. So I want to paint a different southern Anhui, a different Huizhou, the plane composition, the form of color composition plus the pen and ink language of Chinese painting, plus the elements of ancient Huizhou: wind and fire walls, archways, gate towers, stone bridges, flowers The windows, etc., strive to create a quiet and mysterious artistic conception, allowing the viewer to travel in Huizhou in a dreamlike atmosphere and feel the beauty of Huizhou.

In terms of painting, Teacher Cai benefited from the famous Toronto area teacher Zhang Dawen. The painter wields his pen, walks like a dragon, and uses colors in all kinds of styles. It is all kind of charm. Without losing the essence of Chinese painting and calligraphy, when you encounter encounters, you will be taught by the second teacher. He also traveled to the western art realm, and the power of immersion gradually progressed over time. The pen and ink are like skeletons, and they begin to enter the realm.
